WHAT IS 'BESPOKE' FASHION?
Bespoke fashion refers to custom-made clothing that is individually crafted to fit the client's specific measurements and style preferences. Unlike ready-to-wear or made-to-measure garments, bespoke pieces are created from scratch, allowing for complete customization in terms of fabric, design, and fit. The process involves multiple fittings and close collaboration between the designer and the client to ensure the final garment is unique, perfectly tailored, and reflects the client's personal style and vision. Bespoke fashion represents the highest level of craftsmanship and attention to detail, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind piece.

WHAT IS YOUR RATE?
My rate for labour is $20 per hour. This includes all aspects of the creation process, from the design development to fabric selection, fittings, and the final construction of the garment. This also includes time shopping for materials.
WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?
I require a 40% down payment of the predicted total cost before starting production on any commission. This initial payment covers the purchase of necessary notions and materials. Upon completion of the garment, I require the remaining 60% of the total cost before delivering the final product. If clients are unable to meet these requirements, I will hold onto the product until full payment is received.
HOW DO YOU TAKE PAYMENTS?
I accept payments through cheques, Interac e-Transfers, and cash. Currently, I do not accept credit card payments or online payment platforms. The banking details will be shown on the invoice letter.
HOW DO YOU CONDUCT CONSULTATIONS?
I schedule consultations at a day and time that works well with my clients. I prefer to meet with clients in the comfort of their own homes, as my home studio cannot accommodate clients at the moment. During the consultation, we will discuss your design ideas, preferences, and measurements to ensure we create a garment that fits your style and needs.
Additionally, I do not charge a consultation fee. However, if our time together exceeds 1 hour, I will charge $10 per half-hour to cover additional consultation time.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PRODUCE AN ORDER?
The time required to complete an order can vary depending on the complexity of the design, materials needed, and current workload. Typically, the process includes consultations, design development, fabric selection, fittings, and final construction.
For a more accurate estimate, please contact me directly with details about your specific project. I will work closely with you to establish a timeline that meets your needs and expectations.
DO I SUPPLY THE MATERIALS OR DO YOU?
If you have a specific material you'd like me to use, I am open to using it if it is suitable for the project you are requesting. In this case, the cost of materials will not be included in the invoice since there is no fabric purchase.
Alternatively, if you prefer that I shop for the fabric, notions, and tools needed for your project, I will include the cost of materials in the invoice. This allows me to ensure the quality and suitability of the materials used in your custom garment.
DO YOU DO MENDING AND/OR ALTERATIONS?
